Ylmaharian dropship

Finally got this thing painted, started building it this spring.
In short, it's an Ylmaharian version and adaptation of the Imperial Valkyrie, removing the sloping wings and thrusters and replacing them with big ducted fans.
The landing gear has also had a major redesign from the original and the cheek cannon has been moved to a more logical chin turret.
The example shown has no legion markings, but these craft are rather rare in Ylmaharian service.

Building the fans was rather complicated. The paintjob was more straight forward, but took a lot longer (at least until I started drybrushing it in a proper manner).

Built on the Games Workshop "Imperial guard valkyrie" model, with homemade wings, landing gear and chin turret.
