The LeadWind by Durnstaros The LeadWind by Durnstaros
Finished painting my version of a Hydra today, a Ylmaharian 'Landstorm' AA tank called "The LeadWind" by it's crew.
Tried drybrushing the whole vehicle instead of trying to highlight manually, and I do think that worked even if I didn't stick a lot of eye-catching details on it.

The base is a widened 1:48 scale King Tiger with a fully custom turret and radar dish.

And I am aware that it resembles a Russian/Soviet Shilka

Will you add surface-to-air missiles, as the Israelis did to the M163 air defense vehicle, to increase the range at which it can engage enemy aircraft?

Probably, if they had the tech. A bunch of hunter-killer sized missiles would be perfect.

I was thinking of a Bofors Forty when I made the flash hiders, so probably close to that.

57mm? Probably too big for that chassi, 40 will be cramped enough.
